For the workplace, this means the mandatory work from home order is lifted and indoor masking is no longer required, except for in Edmonton, which has a municipal masking bylaw still in effect.

My name is Ariel U. Coronado, from the Philippines. I am an international student and have finished my Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at University Canada West, last December 2021. I have an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) from San Pablo Colleges, Philippines. I was a consistent academic achiever and scholar during my school days. My hobbies include singing, writing poems and essays, playing badminton, taking care of plants, and spending time with my children and my wife.
I have been in the corporate world for more than 25 years. I worked with some of the multinational manufacturing companies in the Philippines; I have only worked in the accounting and finance department since I started my professional career; which has allowed me to experience all facets of accounting from debit and credit journal entries to financial statements closing, analysis, and reporting, plus the strong and motivational management of my people. My approach to leadership is a combination of democratic and transformational styles. I do value honesty, integrity, patience, hard work, and dedication at work and inside my family. Hello, I'm Yixuan! I was born and raised in China, where my primary field of study was Engineering (with Economics minors). I love travelling, photography and exploring different cultural experiences, which inspired me to study and work in Canada since 2017. After graduating from the University of Calgary, I worked as a Seismic data analyst in Calgary & Houston for around 2 years, processing & analyzing raw field data and providing data-driven consultancy to our clients. This year, I relocated to Fort McMurray with my partner and wish to restart my career in this beautiful city.
My professional experience as a data analyst gives me a good understanding of data management and the oil & gas industry. I am also tech-savvy in many different programming languages and software. I really like it when I can free myself from inefficient replicative working processes and boost the team's efficiency by applying those technical skills. My awareness of continuous learning also allows me to learn new roles quickly and efficiently!
