Hi, I’m Melissa and I’m the recruiter here at WBT. I have a very diverse background and have been involved with recruiting and staffing companies my whole life. My mother had her own staffing company located in Halifax for over 15 years. After completing my Office Administration diploma and HR related training I was able to use my skills immediate while working for her company. These specific skills, education and business knowledge have accelerated my recruiting career to where I am today. My husband, 3 daughters (10, 4 & 3) and myself moved to Fort McMurray in 2017. Fort McMurray was quick to become our home, just a great sense of community here. We love going to McDonald Island for our weekend swimming trips, or visiting the Snye. Once we got established and my youngest daughter turned 2, It was time for me to go back to work. I had heard such great things about WBT, I just knew it was the place for me. After speaking with Kristen and hearing her need for a recruiter, I knew our relationship was going to blossom. I have been working for Wood Buffalo Temps ever since.
