Hi, my name is Victoria Cochrane. I’m fairly new to Fort McMurray, only being here for just over 3 years. We made the big move from Edmonton when my husband was hired on full-time after him commuting for 13 years. I’m a mother of two munchkins, 10 and 7. We have two miniature pinchers that like to keep us on our toes. I spend most of my free time volunteering within the kids' schools, currently being their treasurer as well as volunteering within the community.
I have my Finance Diploma from NAIT, and as you can guess I love working with numbers! Before staying home with the kids, I was an administrative assistant with a plumbing wholesaler. I’ve had the opportunity to work in different environments, from retail, food industry, warehouse to being in an office. I like being able to work independently but love being part of a team. Having a great team is like family, and family is so important!

Yatra Patel
Administration and Pharmaceutics Professional
My name is Yatra Patel, and I chose to make Fort McMurray my new home over 3 years ago. My husband and I bought a house last year and plan to continue our journey in this wonderful city. Every year I am amazed when I see the Northern lights. I love to explore trails and enjoy nature, not only in the summer, but in the winter as well.
I graduated with a master’s degree in Pharmaceutics & Drug Regulatory Affairs. I successfully passed the first entrance exam of PEBC to become Pharmacist, as I was an international graduate in Canada. I have gained administrative skills from my previous jobs, where I was managing payroll, maintaining schedules, communicating with clients, inventory management and so on. I have also completed some IT certificates where I learned Software Testing and QA Automation in my free time. Currently, I am looking for new opportunities where I can utilize my knowledge and experience to help your organization.
